Information You Submit
Search-box entries, such as a name, phone number, or address, are sent to the outside provider that delivers the search results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those entries. If you contact us, we receive the information in the message and use it to respond.
Routine Technical Information
Hosting systems may create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser information, visited pages, and times. We review aggregate patterns to operate and improve the reference. Cookies or comparable tools can support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, or independent search services. The policy of the destination controls information submitted there. This includes sponsored-result providers.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the service can process its server logs. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the technical information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. Since there are no user accounts, the service does not hold visitor passwords or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has supplied information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Requests
New Jersey’s Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023 c.266, codified at N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq., gives covered consumers rights concerning personal data, subject to statutory coverage and exceptions. Because this service retains very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and server logs, then removing applicable information. Use the Contact page to make a request. Government records held by New Jersey, Ocean County, or Berkeley Township remain under their custodians’ control and have separate access rules.
